Purpose of the Reference Guide:

By 2026, the initial hype surrounding AI has given way to widespread, pragmatic use. Yet this maturity has not led to convergence: the differences between organizations have become increasingly pronounced.

Some organizations may apply AI in ways that are misaligned with its intended purpose, introducing risk and inconsistency. Others deploy optimized systems and realize substantial gains in productivity and quality.

This paper seeks to share the knowledge, principles, and practical experiences that distinguish organizations able to move faster with AI - without compromising quality, control, or scientific integrity.

The goal is to help close this potential implementation gap and support a responsible transformation of Medical Information to better serve healthcare professionals and ultimately patients.
