We are looking for an Talent Acquisition Lead to focus almost entirely on finding, attracting, and hiring world-class talent for our tech and commercial teams. You will play a critical role in building AVAYL’s team of top-tier engineers capable of building enterprise software end-to-end, and commercial professionals who can handle large enterprise projects in a fast-growing, high-velocity environment.

Role Overview
The HR Recruiter will spend 90% of their time sourcing, evaluating, and hiring exceptional talent for both tech and commercial teams, and 10% on internal HR tasks such as onboarding effectiveness.
This is a high-impact role for someone with experience in startup or high-growth environments, who can identify top performers, engage them effectively, and ensure AVAYL hires the right people to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Focus: Lead full-cycle recruitment for tech and commercial roles, including sourcing, outreach, interviewing, and closing candidates.
Sourcing Top Talent: Identify world-class full-stack engineers and enterprise commercial professionals capable of handling complex projects in fast-paced environments.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a highly professional, engaging, and positive experience for every candidate.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needs.
Process & Strategy: Build scalable recruitment processes, pipelines, and reporting tools.
Internal HR Support: Handle HR-related topics such as onboarding, employee documentation, and ad-hoc people operations tasks (~10% of time).
Talent Growth Mindset: Support the development of a hiring strategy that attracts the right people and helps them thrive at AVAYL.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR
Experience hiring for tech roles (full-stack engineers, enterprise software) and/or commercial enterprise roles is highly desirable
Proven ability to identify and attract exceptional talent in competitive markets
Experience in startup or high-growth environments
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable executing recruitment strategy end-to-end
Passionate about helping people grow and succeed
