We are looking for a talented Strategic Projects Manager to drive projects with our clients including top 10 Pharma companies worldwide.


Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in stakeholder management, executive communication, and project management within the life sciences industry who is excited to join a rapidly growing organization. It requires balancing hands-on execution of day-to-day operations with the development of scalable processes and solutions that enable us to serve our clients in a modern, AI-driven environment.

For example, you might manage closely with the CEO key customer relationships and project delivery while simultaneously partnering with the technology team to automate and scale customer-facing processes. We are looking for a builder someone who enjoys creating structure from scratch, establishing new processes, and shaping how things are done as the company grows. If you prefer optimizing already well-established processes rather than building them from the ground up, this role is likely not the right fit.


Key responsibilities

  • Act as the primary post-contract point of contact for clients, guiding them through onboarding, implementation, and long-term adoption while building trusted relationships across IT, business, and user stakeholders.

  • Evaluate customer environments to understand workflows, systems, and organizational needs, ensuring our solutions align with both business objectives and technical requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate successful onboarding and software implementations, setting timelines, managing deliverables, and driving adoption across all relevant stakeholders.

  • Facilitate assessments, including IT security, compliance, and value evaluations, to secure executive endorsement and support long-term rollouts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tech, go-to-market, and leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience and maximize platform value.

  • Build business cases, proposals, and strategic recommendations in partnership with AVAYL leadership to support customer success initiatives.

  • Shape and continuously optimize the customer journey, identifying opportunities to enhance engagement, adoption, and overall satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain standardized content, tools, and templates to support consistent execution across projects and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management/consulting within executive settings, demonstrating a strong ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects while effectively building and maintaining lasting client relationships.

  • 2+ years of experience in a growth environment like start-ups or dynamic roles. A backrgound in life sciences and knowledge of Medical Information processes and industry standards is a plus but not expected

  • Ability to translate customer challenges into solutions, building trust, nurturing client partnerships, and driving deals to closure

  • Strong foundation in planning, coordinating, and executing projects, with a proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships

  • Excellent communicator capable of turning complex technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
